work week 3

ＩＴｓme AGAIN EHE (u are spoiled today)

my week of work was so fucking BORING.

for monday and tuesday i spend the entire day doing fabric research. not that i don't like it but doing 16hours in a row on the same pattern is pretty annoying. so nothing really new, it's the smocking thing.

and since am a slave, i cut every tiny little square with a cutter it took me 2hours since it was pretty sick (it's mirror paper).

on wednesday i finally did something interesting OMG!!! my boss got a client asking for a tailor suit so she assigned me to do the whole pattern ehehehehe. this is what it looks like:

first I needed to do the base of it, so it took me the whole day. but idk why she asked the apprentice to do the pattern of the collar, so when i sewed everything together idk how to sew the collar. since i didn't make it it was hard to understand where is what :(. so of course it missed 2 pieces and it ended up looking bad.

on thursday i needed to do the shape with what we call Bolduc; it's basically a black thin tape. and with this i needed to report it on the paper pattern and separate everything.

i need to pass the dart into the cuts to not have useless seems so it was mind-wrecking to know where and how to do it on my own. i still managed and prepared everything to sew it for friday.

at night we went to grab a beer with my friends (Romy, Laélie, Laurette, Emma and Enora). it was really chill and it's been a long time since i saw Laurette so i was happy ehe.

and finally on friday i saw all the cut together. there was a tiny bit problem, i made the cup for the boob a bit too high, so i needed to reduce one cut but that's it !!!! ehe. (sorry we can't see well)

she told me next week on monday i need to do all of the pattern (lining as well) and am kinda stressed because i will need to do the pattern for the collar as well but i don't understand what the apprentice did :( how will i do the facing ugh. will seeeeeee.... and on tuesday to sew the prototype, so i have a tight schedule !!!!

on wednesday i have an appointment for another internship or work idk it's not really precise... at 5pm. apparently i will also have a test ahah i can't wait to see what i need to do. the brand is @lecourtmaison (why all of her instagram is full of her....????) it's not really my style so i'm not really stressed either care.

weekend 19-20 october

hi bitcheeeeesssssss

i actually forgot to write about the weekend....so here we are:

for andrea's birthday, since she is not someone craving for material stuff, i decided to give her a weekend somewhere else than paris.
so i booked an airbnb to Sainte-Geneviève-lès-Gasny. it was a cottage, inspired by Alpes, next to a river a 30m2 cute apartment. was really in the middle of nowhere, was so calm no sounds and finally not hundred and hundred of ppl everywhere.

so, the friday i finish work at 1pm right, i came home, eat salad and took a big fat nap. it took me 4 alarm to finally get up so obviously late.... cause i needed to pick up andrea from work and i didn't do my bag for the weekend oops.... i picked andrea at 4pm, but actually i was on time. we went to her house for her to make her bag and to go to my car (i leave it close to her place since she lives outside of paris at Ivry-sur-seine). we arrived to the place at 7:45 after 20mn in the Parisian traffic... we were welcomed by Emanuelle, a sweet lady who gave us cider for andrea's birthday. (oh i need to leave grades to her i always forgot) Since Antonio made dinner for us we just drinked and ate, we were a bit tired bc of the week of work. on gulli there was a the familly addams old movie, and idk if u know that but u can change the language of the show u are watching into the original version; so we watched it in english, but the accent was so hard to catch up. we slept at 11.

the next day (saturday), it was raining but whatever we like it ehe autumnnnnn <3. we woke up around 9 and wanted to eat a good breakfast. we went to a boulangerie and took a brioche du terroir, the girl said to her after it's baked it's marinated into apple syrup. was actually very good, with a cup of coffee yummy yummy. at the same time we went to buy the groceries for the weekend (we got a roasted premade chicken ehehehe). we also went to get gas but we waited 10mn for nothing cause we forgot our credit cards...
i made a reservation at the Monet's garden and house at 2:30pm. so after we ate we went. it was really pretty, it's were Anti made a hole into the flower bahahaha oop-.

we went home around 5:30, and we were lazy to go out again so we spend the rest of the day playing board games. we watched Wednesday and slept like babies again.

on sunday, we needed to leave the airbnb at 1pm, so we went for a lazy morning planning what we should do next before going back to Paris.
we went to the village of la Roche-Guyon, apparently labelled as one of the prettiest. we went to visit the castle, were there was a guiding audio (actually very cool they should do that more often) so we understood everything a lot better while going at our own pace. what's interesting in this castle, is that the treasure was kept in a very high tower on the hill.
so we climbed 250 stairs in a troglodyte style.

the water u can see is the seine !! oh and fun fact, in the basement they keep a machine that can make u turn back it time ;)

we went to a really cute café were all of the cups were ceramics handmade and a tiny art gallery inside so prettyy, we took a cinnamon and muscade piston coffee 't was interesting, tasted good. we walked into the orchard garden of the castle and went back to my car. drove for 2h bc of traffic. went back to my house in metro and hophophop sleep tighhttttt. ⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡

work week 2

sweet evening pretty women’s :D

i will resume the week in one post.

so i continued on doing the soldering part, don’t think it’s interesting to say since it’s electronic and unless am not aware it’s not really ur thing…….
i cut the led, solder it on a battery and put the led on the fiber optic. for the entire day bc i needed to do 15x2.. ZzzZ

when i got home andrea was embroidering some doodles. cause we are doing some clothes for our own. if time and money are with us we will maybe build a collection for ppl or do some competition or whatever shit.

for wednesday i finished putting the led and i deliver to the girl who will sew the bags. it was 30mn from work by metro. and in a place where i had an interview for an internship and i ghosted them bc i didn’t really like it (Zaady). and of course who i see in front of the building??? the guy who did my interview, hope he doesn’t remember me but we stared at each other too long to be innocent....

after this i continued working on the outfit she assigned me to do.

i already did the jacket, now i need to do the pants. i passed one hour figuring out how i will do the stages on the side.

when i got off-work Enora called me to go to a preview of an exhibition at Palais de Tokyo because one her coworker stood her up. so she went to mine to eat and we went there together. was sooo crowded by so many stylish ppl. Palais de Tokyo is a bit like what is Arte for TV; the outcast weirdo artsy shit that nobody understand but everyone loves it.

so i give you soap on a wall (?) with cutie enora and a 60 meters long asssss collage.

in thursday, i did the entire pants: so the pattern and the pockets that will do the effects of stages.

she liked it, and around 6 she asked me to figure out how to include discretly the led in the pants.

finally on friday, i only work to 10 until 1. so she assigned me on a new outfit. but for this one she wants some fabrics effets made by hand sewing called smoking. she gave me the example in red so i need to do a pattern like it. but it's impossible to do like she wants because on the example it's molding leather. me it's fabric so whatever i do there will be wrinkles that doesn't make the effect works. it broked my brain thanks god i only worked 3 hours.

it took me forever to write this article cause i couldn't find the draft so needed to re-write everything again.........

work day 6

hello gurls

today was a boring day.

first i was late to my internship (i start at 10 i was there at 10:08 OOP-), and it started with cleaning the dirt on some dress. because my boss went to an event and she lend like 6 outfits to people. but since there is alcohol and ppl don't really care they were a bit damaged. so it took us 2 hours.

after that i repaired a jacket with sewing by hand because some point snatched. the yellow thing that u can see are LED, all connected to a usb that u plug into a battery.

after finishing that, since the boss was going errand she put me on a mission of preparing the production of bag she will do. so in this case is putting the optical fiber in a tulle tube:
i had idk 20 to do, my hands are burned because it doesn't go in easily, but whatever i did this next to the window and the heater so i felt like a grandma.

at lunch time (2:10) i ate the meal that my mom prepared this week-end: rice, spinach and salmon. so kinda fancy ehehe. for desert a figue and some granola snack

i finished my duty so i helped the other interns (2 of them) by cutting a jacket (wedding jacket for a men, in vinyl?). but since we were 3 on it we finished quickly, before the boss was back. so we talked a lot about how difficult is to find an internship especially in fashion so we can't imagine finding a job lol.

when she went back; around 5:30, she assigned me to soldering some thread on lightbubs bahahaha??? this was actually funny because i never did it. so it's basically: u take a thread, u cut off the plastic protection around, u take the LED and wrap it tightly on (the bar + and -). and when it's secured u take the hot machine, and a piece of Etain and u melt it on the electric thread.
I only did 6 in a spawn of one hour since it's a new skill am kinda slow.

I came back home (7:40) with andrea already in my apartment. she usually finish at 5, but today she felt sick so she came back at 1pm. even tho she still cooked (pasta w/ mushrooms yummmy) and also did the groceries so WOW ok WIFEY MATERIAL??
we watched ru paul drag race france season 1, paloma marry me pls.

coffee-theater

hello bestieeeessss

so after leaving you, we went to the "Le balcon" it's like the same building as Passage Culturel but u enter by the sides..? we waited for 20mn, and got into this restaurant/theater thing. so tables in front of a stage let's say. the roof was huge like 6/7 meters, and
the mood was dim lights. my parents already bought the tickets; so we got tapas and a drink along.

the show started at 9pm and we went there at 7:45 so just enough time to eat and talk. (wanted to disappear so bad i got the usual question of what r u doing and blablabla...) ((bc my aunt and uncle were here)) i took one pinte and a half beer yaaaaaay!!!

and now.... the worst show ever, am sorry for the comedians but the script is shit. the plot was: a couple (straight of course) going through this 7 years of living together crisis, bored i would say, they wanted to say all the truth to each other. so of course the woman never had orgasm, and the man cheated on her. all of the cliché you can think of were inside and we got the phrase "if a woman say no it means yes"... maybe am putting it out of the context but still wtf are u saying.

so horrendous moment, probably bc am not a 50yo old woman into a straight relationship so i didn't find it good. but the public laughed a lot... (60yo average age)
i did smile one time bc they mimicked an american sitcom and it was so true like heritage, cheating and wedding.... basically friends or desperate housewives ehe.

whatever after we got home, my auntie took a coffee (it was 11pm???) and my uncle a rum. we ate the apricot pie (yummy) and they left at like 12:30.
